? on rear windshield and defrosting
Today I noticed that as I was defrosting my rear windshield, the top 5 lines (those lines I refer to are those strips that defrost the window that lie horizontally) don't defrost the windshield. Is this a problem or was it designed for me to not be able to see through the top 5-6 inches of my rear windshield when I try to defrost it?
Thanks |

It happens to my sedan. Frankly, I'm not impressed by the rear windshield defroster. I'd have to check where the cut off is exactly, but I can tell you that the top portion of the windshield is a pain. I believe some other people have reported it as well.

If you look on the rear windshield, you should be able to notice that there is a significant gap at the top between some of the lines. Right about where the window stops defrosting. If you look even harder in the right top right you'll see a nice little black box connected to the top 4 or 5 lines or so. This is your antenna, not part of the defroster.
