If I disconnect the battery will the oil life reset itself?

Nope, Ive had my battery disconnected numerous times for various installs. It will stay the same.

Yeah its kinda nice, when I disconnect the battery, all my settings, even on my aftermarket pioneer stereo stay the same! And yeah, your oil life indicator will stay the same.
