AEM cai and engine check?
I know there have been alotta posts about the aem cai and the engine check light. I have an 06 ex sedan. I installed it last week and have had no problems with it until today and coincidentally it's a rainy day. While driving on the highway the engine check light came on. I don't know whether its because of the aem intake alone or because of the water. Also i think i revved it to or past the red line while i was screwing with the gears. I don't know whether its the rain, cai itself, or the fact that it hit redline.
nm i found water on the maf sensor. does anyone know if putting in a bypass valve solve this problem or does the valve have to be totally submerged in water for it to take action? Last edited by slynx; 04-12-2007 at 06:17 PM. |
