Question window visors

Is it a true that the window visors will increase the wind noise ? I do have a little of wind noise(normal) and I hate it(civic the worst for the wind noise). But I like the visors for letting the window open a little while raining(smoker).Any advice? Thanks

Thanks. Well I see that I am not going to get me the visors for sure.I am getting nervous while driving above 50 now,I cannot imagine to have more wind noise with the visors.

I have the weathertech visors as well, I really don't noticed the noise, maybe because I have my music up loud. I have had my windows open on the highway and the only wind noise that bothers me is when the sunroof is opened.

I highly recommend them if you are a smoker, as I hated getting soaked while having a smoke with out the visors, it was one of my first mods.

I know what are you talking about, but that wind noise is really bothering me a lot.I have had an issue with my windy driver site window whitch has been fixed, but not 100%.The dealer just said that the Civic is more noisy with the windows and I have to get used to it.Still not at that point. And with the visors I will be just fussing in my seat-hahaha I really like the look with the visors ,but not with my Civic thought .Thanks

buy the Skunk2 exhaust, you'll never notice wind noise again

i've got the weathertech visors on my coupe and i think that they've reduced my wind noise. i can open the window a crack and the noise doesn't seem as bad as before i put the visors on. it also seems to keep the wind from blowing directly in your face.

But I am talking about the wind noise with closed window. My dealer told me that putting on the visors will increase the wind noise badly.Of cource the open window with visors will reduce the wind by itself a little, but I don't know about the whistling noise with closed ones. But who can trust dealer, huh?I hate to spend $100 for the weathertechs for just try them on and than throw them to the trash if that would be the case.Any more inputs about this?

even with the windows down, having visors reduces wind noise (in my car at least). plus, the weathertechs can be had for less than $60 shipped from here:

I had a small rattle coming from mine, I added a tiny strip of weather stripping and there is no more rattle.
