Removing Paint Glue
I have a 07 black SI and have had it for about 2 weeks. I had to wait a week after buying it for it to arrive off of the ship ( west coast) It went strait from the dock to the dealer for 2 hours then to me . The problem is that there is sticky glue lines over most of the top of the car ( hood, top-fenders,trunk lid, ect.) I tried regular car soap, dilluted simple green, they diddent work. I would
like to avoid anything that will strip the clear off the paint. Any suggestions. |

well if i had the car i would use spot remover to take the glue off...just as i had to do with my car...
since your prolly not going to be able to get your hands on spot remover...i believe someone suggested using rubbing alcohol on a car to take off the wax, as a paint cleaner/prep...so you could use that to take off the glue...just make sure you clean up the car really well and then put a coat of wax on it when your all done... |
