yeaa... well u could be droppin the clutch a lil before u floor it again. tryin power shifting and see if u have the problem still. and make sure vsa is off if your shifting to 2nd or 3rd.

It's a very common problem where people "shift real hard" on their civic and have the car "fall flat on its face"......

the problem can be remedied by learning how to drive a stickshift properly, which can be .......hard.

Another option is you're falling out of VTEC when you shift. Going from 180whp to 125whp is quite a "fall on it's face" if you ask me.

thats what kinda sucks is that it can make your run or break it, i think the times i've gone to the track i've fallin out cuz i ran mid 15's, but i would shift before 8 because the tach flys by that anyway, next time i'll shit right at 8, whats the rev limiter and fuel cut off?

make sure the car is getting gas before you release the clutch? I've noticed the DBW is slower to respond than the clutch. Also, release the clutch slower?

If these are not the problem, high-flow intake and hondata reflash are recommended

Just shift when the light turns solid. Not when it blinks.
