Exclamation Engine Overheating

I Got a problem, so about 10 min. ago I was leaving to the store when I noticed my engine was heating up pretty quickly and I started to smell something burning, So I stopped popped the hood and I had no ENGINE COOLANT, WTF I drove back home and there is no sign of a leak in my garage??? Pleaze help, Do you guys think it has anything to do with the fact that I intalled my Injen CAI a couple of weeks ago?

Test it. Dont drive anywhere just start it and let it idel. Keep a close eye on it. If it does it again. I'd say return it back to stock and take it to honda. Maybe be a bigger issue than just low coolant.

I let it idel for a couple of min and the smell practically dissapeared, almost. Drove it to the store about 5 mi there and 5 back and every thing seems OK. I park in a garage and I did not see any signs of a leak and when I looked under my hood everything seemed OK

did you fill up the coolant container as well?

Just curious, did you open your coolant cap while your car was overheating? If you did, how did you manage to stay alive?

If you didn't fill it it was a little low from taking the coolent line off you lost a little bit of coolent. how many miles do you have on your car?
As far as it coming back um unless it settled somewhere and then dripped onto the exhaust not likely was it steaming?

I filled up the resovoir right after intalling the CAI, my car has 10K miles.
Im starting to think I do have a bubble in my lines (whatever that means )

here is how it goes....you have 10k on the car I'm guessing that you never added coolent to your car since you got it...every 5k check it cause it evaporates like water.
It probably was a little low when you did the job.
You took the line off that was in the way to do the CAI......
when you do this you create an air bubble in the system...you introduced air into the system...
You filled it to the fill line ...
Next you should have ran the car for a while with the heat all the way to the hot position.. this opens the coolent system up so the air can circulate through the system to the overflow bottle if you didnt do this the air might have gotten trapped by the thermostat on your engine causing the temp to go up...when it opened the temp went down and air passed through.
the burning smell if there was no steam might have been the rubber hoses getting hot.....no biggy kind of normal....
the coolent cooled down and was low because air bubble passed through and into resevoir if you added coolent run car let it reach operating temp check for steam or leaks
then 2 morrow check again for any leaks and see if the coolent is low...
