Unhappy The Meanie is dead as a corpse. ?WTH?

So, my sister and my brother in law have the car while I'm stuck in this dirthole. They hadn't driven it in a month so my bro-in-law decided to take it out for a spin over the weekend. Well, that didn't happen. The battery was dead and they tried to charge it but the alarm went nuts. They tried disarming it with the keyfob but that didn't work. Now, I'm stuck here so I can't fiddle with it to figure out what the problem is. I had the same problem with an Alfa Romeo but that was an easy fix. I just disabled the aftermarket alarm at the controller. I really can't think of what to do from here.

Anyone have any ideas that I can pass onto my fam?

does your alarm have one of those override buttons hidden under the dash. Usually you can press that while starting the car or something like that and the alarm deactivates.

It's the stock alarm. I forgot to add that! Sorry. I'm a bit perplexed.

Didn't something like this happen to another member? If your sis has AAA, they should tow it to the local Honda dealer for the fix. I don't have time as I'm rushing out of the house now, but do a search for something along these lines. I'm sure there was a huge thread about it. Most people didn't believe the guy.

Remove battery from vehicle, charge, reinstall and try again with start procedure.
