Damaged my new transmission already?

I was driving on a straight road today so I decided to try on my cruise control for the first time. So, I pressed the CRUISE CONTROL button... fooled around with the ACCEL AND DECEL buttons... pressed CANCELLED... just to test out the system... I would pressed the buttoms here and there.. I don't even remember what buttons I pressed at what sequence... then when I reach the stop and go traffic I stopped testing my cruise control functions. That's when I realised that when I accelerate and let go the gas I could feel a very light THUMP! I mean, my car has less than 400 MILES!!! Did the transmission get damaged???? I never felt a light thump when I let go the gas before testing my cruise control for the first time. Is this normal when you use the cruise control for the first time and will it go away?

I've never had it happen to my Si. That's weird. I don't know how you would have messed up your tranny just by using the wheel controls. Anybody else got any suggestions?

Nah, it never happened before and this very light thump really bugs me right now. I discovered that its more noticable when you're travelling at very slow speeds and you lift off the gas and you'll feel the thump much more. Does anyone else notices it on their Civic for those who have cruise control on their cars?

I don't see how the cruise control would mess up the tranny, its like pressing and letting off on the gas slowly.

maybe you entered some sort of secret cruise control key code

I'm afraid that if I take it back to the dealer for servicing they'll mess up my car even more. I'll drive it tommorow and see if it goes away. I don't know what the hell happened.

I also have an R18 Auto, I'd say it's normal.

It's the DBW. I get this all the time when I'm in traffic and lightly tap on the gas, the car kind of jerks. It's annoying as hell but I've gotten use to it after all this time.
