Less than a week old Si coupe hit at work parking lot

So today was a long day for me, and I was really ready to get home, so I hopped in my NHBP Si coupe I just bought last Saturday, completely loving my new car the whole way home. Once I got home and parked, I noticed SOMEBODY HIT MY CAR IN MY PARKING LOT A WORK. No note was left. I feel like an idiot for not noticing but I didn't really walk by that part of the car and it's Friday and I was ready to go home.

Here's a picture I took:

My work parking lot has security cameras but there aren't any that cover that side of the building. I'm sure I'm looking at paying my full $500 deductible. You can bet your a$$ I will be stalking the parking lot the next week looking for black streaks on another car. I am heated.

wow, that really sucks, whoever hit your car better be watching their back

you may want to take some closer pictures of any paint that was left from the other car, so you have some proof

Use your Ninja skillz to find the offender.

Then flip out and kill them.

OUCH! You definitely need to watch for cars with black paint on them where it shouldn't be. That sucks man. Good luck with insurance and repairs.

I'm sorry about your situation man.....

are we seeing any red coming through on your car,.... or is that a reflection? Was the other car red possibly?

Thanks for looking at my pic, but unfortunately that's just a reflection. If there's paint left behind by the other car, it's silver...but I can't tell if it's paint or the base coat.....here's a higher res picture:

yea it's hard to tell even from the pic. It could have taken your paint down the the metal. You'll have to run your finger/fingernails across those areas to see if it's indented -deep, or if any of it is on TOP of your paint.

again - sorry

so sorry about your car.
I'm always afraid of that happening to my new civic.
You park far away and it gets hit, you park between cars and your door gets banged...ugh I wish karma was real.

Of course this morning I wake up feeling sick and pi$$ed off so I went out to my car as soon it was light to take some closer pics. It looks like the car that hit me was white or silver AND took my paint off.

That sucks ball man..
I'd fix it myself w/o involving insurance; not worth having a claim and having it go up for that little damage
good luck
