Armrest switch buttons durability/reliability
On March 17 I brought home my brand new 2007 Honda Civic LX sedan. It was raining quite hard on that day and I parked my car outside. I had to get in and out of my car about 5 times on that day when it was pooring rain. I'm just wondering if the armrest switch buttoms are water resistant? Another important question.... is the main switch button that controls tha ON and OFF passenger windows suppose to light up? It's the button with a window and a X (OVAL SHAPED BUTTOM WITH RED TRIM IN THE BOTTOM) It's the only button on my Civic that doesn't light up at night! I called the Honda dealership and the service guy thinks it doesn't light up. He wasn't too sure himself. Can someone here SOLVE THIS MYSTERY FOR ME. I mean, a one day old car shouldn't have an electrical problem.
