Rough Idle w/ electric window

So here's the problem... when my car is idleing (in park or drive) and i roll the windows up/down, the RPM's drop really low and the car starts to idle roughly for about 1 second then the RPM's raise back to normal.... this "low to high" RPM change also happens sometimes going from neutral/park to drive... anyone else have these problems and/or potential fixes? thanks!

I get it too and when you roll it up/down it tends to pop back into place so to speak into the door panel. The RPMs go up slightly because of it also.

It's using electric current to roll the window up/down so the alternator is working harder.

its the electronic load detector kicking in for the alternator. its somewhat normal but not really. there should be a tsb out for the ELD but dealer wont replace it unless you get a code for it

Yes it's "normal". When you turn on or use any electrical instrument (power door locks, windows, lights, stereo, climate control, etc) you draw electric power so there will be an extra load on the engine, hence the lowered RPM. Cars with small engines frequently experience this problem, where bigger V6's and above usually do not.
