CEL with Skunk2 Mega Power

I just put a Skunk2 Mega Power R on my 07 Si today... to go along with my Injen CAI that i've had for about a month. I got a CEL. I checked the bolts to make sure they were tight. But the light stayed on. Im not sure though how tight I should make the bolts (which i think is the most likely problem)...I hand tighened them but i dont want them to break....how tight have you others made the bolts? Also, wouldnt I pretty much know if there was a leak? I probably wouldnt get no real power...right? Or is this engine light normal for the first few days or so? I had the bad smell in my car and it went away after about an hour drive and a bad headache...but thats taken care of...soooo...any thoughts?

You may have damaged the O2 sensor upon install. DId you just put the exhaust on or a header or test pipe or high flow cat? I just install it on saturday and no check engine light..

sounds like u have a bad leak have some one sit in the car and rev it while u look underneath during a cold start u might be able to see some smoke escape. id check that before anything though. maybe the leak is causing the the o2 sensor act a lil crazy giving false reading and so throwin a cell

wouldnt i lose back pressure if there was a leak though...my friend had a crack somewhere on his exhaust and the result was his car moving slow as hell

went to auto zone yesterday...02 sensor 1 is the problem...now question is...should i change it with another one or use a defouler? i was told by somebody else just to unhook the negative side of the battery for 15 minutes and run it idle after i hook it back up...and it go on but go out after a few mintues in idle...sound about right?
