Ya'll are missing the point here. Did I say I don't use my seatbelt? It's the law in NY.

I just don't like the crying before I click. Looking for advise from someone that did a quick disable here. . .

The car is teaching you how to buckle up at the proper time........you really should be buckling up before you put the key in.

........just plug your seatbelt in.........and sit on it (never unbuckle it).........problem solved!

I personally really like the seatbelt alarm.........makes me buckle up (I developed a nasty habit of not buckling it up until I started down the street with my other car)

Does anyone know the answer??? I too appreciate everyones opinion but the question is valid to me also. I always wear my belt but in the summer i sometimes cruise the local beach and am in gridlock stopped traffic for hours. the chime can be annoying and the seatbelt is quite unnecessary since I am not moving...

I am realy getting sick and tired of all the worthless sarcastic remarks on this forum. Threads get off topic and people loose interest and threads die out because a couple of deadheads decide to ramble on about some off topic nonsense.
I am not by any means getting on anybody's case on this thread. This behavior is evidence in just too many threads. And I am by no means trying to condemn any humour or tasetful remarks or even non-tasteful ones. But I just can't stand seeing people get bashed because they are trying to get some useful information from this forum.
OK. I had to let it out. I feel better now

Please, don't let this thread get out of hand. I'm subscribed, and if I see any more bashing/flaming/smart-ass comments, I will delete posts and issue warnings. Don't think these warnings are meaningless - they are logged and will play a vital role in our decision-making if someone needs to be reprimanded.

why? there's a DIY here already. some people just don't bother to use the "SEARCH" option and keep on posting and posting things that have been covered and asked over and over

Angry

It is true that people should use the search feature but some folks are relatively new to forums and just aren't used to the set up. I agree that way more flaming goes on than neccessary anymore. Just as you guys get tired of "newbs" and people not searching, others get tired of the nasty little attitudes. So either pipe up with a good answer or keep the repetative b.s. to yourselves, folks.

To the OP. Here is what the search turned up:
