Grab a towel and go to work lol. I left my t-tops off like 3 times in the rain in my old trans am and caught it the longest, maybe 5 mins in the rain w/ em off. And trust me that sucks ass lol.

Its nothing major if you catch it, just dont leave it wide open over a 8 hour rain

That sucks...

Never had that happen but first thing I'd do is head to a gas station and use one of them vacuums. If not your car is gonna smell horrible. Also depends on how bad your car got wet. I jus had some water spilled by a passenger.

damn...

yea just get some carpet shampoo of any type. spray it on the seats and carpet, scrub it. vacuum the excess. as for the dash and electronics, i would wipe it off asap. then maybe use a air hose and spray between all the buttons and what not

EDIT- 500th post!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would be best to be able to leave it somewhere that it can safely air-out for a while. It might get moldy otherwise.

you also might want to consider taking the center console out to clean underneath as well to avoid any mold growing there. here's a DIY from fgcoupe.com (you might needs to register to see the pics)

DIY Center Console Removal

You would also do this to install a short shifter if you have one good luck w/ cleaning out the car. car shampoo's great, but make sure it's fully dry to avoid any molding issues. you could try spraying w/ lysol or some sort of disinfectant to prevent mold buildup.

Most vacuums have the wide flat tip. Those can suck up water too.

Like said those the main thing is drying it good. If not you'll get mold and your car will stink.

Dunno where you live but just vacuuming won't completely dry it. You'll need to let it dry also.

Ugh, that blows... I ALMOST had that happen when a tech (non-Honda) changing my oil decided to screw around with almost everything in my car while he was at it, then forgot close the sunroof... I went outside and saw the sunroof open just as it was starting to rain... needless to say, I was really pissed

Like I said in your other thread, use a carpet cleaning solution with a disinfectant in it.... it will kill off the mildew before it can grow... open all of the windows and sunroof... park it a garage and put a big fan or two in it to dry it out... do it right or you will be sorry in a month...

Believe it or not, the sunroof is not water tight... none are... instead they have drains that get rid of the water... so unless the wind was really high driving water into the car, a tilted sunroof usually results in nothing special since the water will pool in the sunroof frame and drain away...
