They don't constantly move back and forth, they pause for while and then wipe again. The time between wipes is adjustable on the wiper arm of the car.

heavy rain = full wipers
light mist = intermittent

Anyone notice that like if your stopped, then speed up they get faster?

Like easy way to test when you put it at the last step of intermittent and your stopped they'll pause for only a second then when you speed up they'll go no delay.

In addition to the factory off/low/high settings, the EX has intermittent wipers, meaning that you can adjust the time between each swipe of the wipers.

I enjoy the speed sensitive wipers too

Supposedly all newer Hondas have this as part of the intermittent. can be confusing before you realize it is supposed to do this... (hey didn't I set the delay for short???)

Isn't finally having a features on a Honda that all American companies have included on their cars for the last 10 years just great?

My Civic doesn't even have variable intermittent wipers, what the hell? That'd cost em what.......like 2 cents to put in?

I still question why Honda insists on using a prop rod for the hood, and the lousy trunk hinge design?

the prop rods for the hoods arent that bad. my brothers cobalt SS has a 1 gas shock on his hood. and it was too stiff and it made the left side of his hood stick up like an inch, it was ugly. it was fixed under warranty tho...

I don't see Honda getting rid of the "tuner" prop rod. gas shocks wear out... I enjoy having 2 positions I can lift my hood up to.

What's wrong with the trunk hinge???
