A/C stopped blowing cold air

I've had my car since August 2006, and I just recently started using my AC again a few days ago and it stopped blowing out cold air. It seems as if if the AC off and fan on blew our cooler air than the AC was...What gives???

Maybe it needs recharged? I'd take it to the dealer and let them handle it.

Is it blowing warm air when the AC button is on?

it's not hot air and it's not cold air...so I guess you could call it warm. My roommate and I agree that when I turn on just then fan, it feels cooler than with AC on.

Why would it need a recharge? I've only had the car for 7 months and AC was only used for 1-2 of those months. Boooo.

That's what warranty is for. At least it happened now before it gets too hot outside. I had the A/C on yesterday on my way home from work. It will hit the upeer 80's today.

You may have a A/C Condensor Puncture. I had this happen about five months ago.

amen to that..I've had the issue of intermittent issues with the A/C not blowing cold air on really hot days, or under hard accel.

my second guess... the A/C knob is in the middle. █ █ █ █ █(⌐)█ █ █ █ █

and you can also turn the A/C on even if its on the red square...

Does the A/C feel like there's a mouse coughing at you?

(+Rep for anyone that can guess the show and episode that came from!)

I had some issues with the A/C cutting out at times last year, seemed like when I would nail the gas that it would cut out, maybe that's normal. I know of other cars that do that...
