Crack on trunk where SI spoiler bolts in center!!!

I was washing my car the other day and noticed water in the trunk so when i closed the trunk i saw a crack in the paint around the center support and when i checked to see if it was still bolted, the entire piece of the trunk underneath the spoiler came up with it... Now i have 2 12's in the trunk but i have never seen anything like this in any of my cars..... Would the factory try to dispute this as a warranty issue???? I need some advice please,,,,,,

The factory would certainly shoot this down, but the factory doesn't see the warranty until your dealer replaces the part and sends it to them. I'd put my money on a dealer being too daft to catch this one.

That's the 2nd time I've heard of someones subs ripping the trunk metal on thses cars. Must be really flimsy where the spoiler mounts, have any pictures? Definately take the subs out when you bring it in, but I have a good idea the dealer will try and blame it on you since it's "physical" damage, they're going to tell you something must have hit the spoiler or someone used too much force on it to close the trunk.

I already plan on taking out the speakers but my biggest issue is whether they are just gonna bondo that section and repaint or a whole new trunk assembly, because i only wanna have to repair this once and if they plan on using bondo its just gonna rip loose again thats why i am wondering if i should leave the speakers there, probably pay for the repair and have it done right..... What are you're thoughts????
