10,000km wat needs to be changed

just curious what matenence is required oil change,cabin air filter( or w/e its called) and etc... plannin to keep my car for a while so u know i gotta take extra care of it

There is no set maintenance schedules for 8th gens... at least not the Si. You wait for the maintenance code to show up on the display... and it will give you some like 1A or 2B etc... then look in your manual and that tells you what needs to be done...

only fix it if its broke. thats a retarted idea. your car cant tell you when to change your cabin air filter. or hell you engine air filter for that matter. there is scheduled maintnaces in there somewhere

ok i see it now. if the display comes up and says B then you should check...and it has a list of like 15 things you should check. its on page 215 in your manual


edit--you still shouldnt only go by this. you should still do the routine maitnance

Yes, I know... but these cars seem to be designed for dummies like this guy.. I'm not sure if "routine maintenance" is in his vocab, hence his post

and its not fix if its broke.....oil change comes on at 15% of its life left... its up to you to do it or not. broke is when you leave it for another 10,000 km at that point.

Give it some fuel injector treatment. Pour a bottle into the gas tank every oil change or so.
