HTF do you get these screws out

in the area below the stereo, I assume the screws have to come out to get the radio out. So far I've bent 2 bits trying to get it out, and the screws haven't moved at all

I used a shorty screw driver and got into a really uncomfortable position. Let's just say I didn't put them back in...

But the socket wrench is a much better way most likely

I needed to remove the head unit, part of installing my XM antenna next to the speedometer in the dash. I now get much better reception than when it was sitting on the read decklid

You're better off putting at least one screw/bolt back in, the screw/bolt helps to hold the stereo down. If you dont have at least one screw/bolt, someone could actually pull the housing out.
