I have the AMSOIL Synchromesh on order and I was wondering if Honda would void the warranty if you do it yourself? Because it clearly states in the owner's manual that changing your engine oil will not void the warranty... However, they don't mention anything for the MTF. Anyone?

I was thinking about this and I'm worried my dealer will be spiteful and mess up my car, is there any downside to just having a local shop do the MTF change?
btw, I also am not sure whether it be better to get the oil changed to Mobil1 Synth. at a shop, or just have the dealer use honda stuff? |

Even IF changing the MTF to non-Honda brand, I fail to see anyone anal enough to run tests on the MTF to see if it's Honda brand. |
