Possible e-brake problem?
EDIT: By the way, I corrected "break" to "brake", but it's not showing up on the thread listings. Anyway....
I park my car on a somewhat steep driveway (though it's not too bad), and of course, I engage the e-break and leave it in gear. If a long enough period of time elapses, such as if I park for the night and drive it the next morning, when I engage the clutch, the car begins to roll back. I brought this up with the tech on my 10k service, and he said it's normal if it eventually locks up, so I said I'd try again the next morning to see what happens. It doesn't seem to be locking up at any point, as the car simply keeps sliding down the incline. Is this normal? |
