Im sorry but I wouldn't have bought that car...you might as well put the front plate back on to cover that up. If I were you I would complain to honda where you bought it and have them replace it. Or you know that survey you got in the mail....let them know they drilled your bumper.

Oh, DAMN! Yeah, that sucks! You should definitely say something to your dealer. They might not do anything, but then again...they just might! That warrants a new bumper.

I would continue to pursue this if I were you. Honda designed the front plate anchor points to hold the front plate. If they thought more anchor points were necessary to hold the front plate securely, they would have designed them in. I would keep complaining to the dealer, walking up the chain, and I would also complain to Honda. A hole drilled in the front bumper is unacceptable.

I was worried about the holes in the front bumper as well as they did the same thing to my wife's car. To my surprise when I got it home they had only did the bottom two screws. I keep my front plate on the passenger side floor board just in case I get stopped. I have been told that if you tell them your original broke and you have one on order they won't cite you. Ofcourse that is completely on what kind of cop you get. This car was not designed for that ugly front plate. It serves no purpose other then more revenue for each state. |
