Anyone with SI having 3rd Gear problems>?

Just wondering if its becoming common,
both myself (07 SI Sedan 2,608miles), and my bro's (07 SI Sedan 1,500miles) are having slight issues sometimes with 3rd gear. Every now and then it will grind into 3rd gear when upshifting from 2nd. Its not that bad yet, and im planning on taking it to the dealership to have it checked out, but as far as i know, the're arent any service bulletins or service recalls out on it yet....
Anyone else have this problem?

If you do a search you will find a ton of stuff.

Mine has the third gear notchiness. However it has never grinded or popped out on me. Alot of people have had problems with third gear and said alot of the symptoms go away after changing the tranny fluid to something like Amsoil or Gm syncromesh.

I don't beliieve the dealer will help you on this one unless they put in the newer Honda MTF - though that isn't that good either. I had the same problem and switched over to Amsoil Synthetic MTF:

You'll need 2 quarts (1.7 QT MT Capacity) and a new crush washer for the MTF drain plug - same washer as the oil drain. Make sure the car is level - it's easiest if you take it to your trusted mechanic and he puts it on a lift. The Amsoil makes the MT silky smooth - much better than before.

Its better for them to come over to you and let them test drive your car from a cold start. Like don't drive it at all that day, and if they're willing to come over and check it out, then let them test drive it. I think that's the only way the 3rd gear problem shows up, is when its driven from a cold start.
