Thread pitch and diameter?
I need someone with some serious know all to get the thread pitch and diameter of a bolt. the part number is: 90011-PNA-003
i tried going to honda but they won't let me talk to a tech. apparently they treat their techs like caged animals and don't let them talk to customers unless they are working on my vehicle |

I presume you tightened one of the acorn nuts on the valve cover bolt too much causing the top of the bolt to snap (ask me how I know
). In any event, you will need to order another bolt as the size and thread pitch is different on each end. Information for the bolt is as follows:Side that connects to the block: 8mm (diameter) x 1.25 (thread pitch) Side that secures the valve cover to the block with an acorn nut: 6mm (diameter) x 1.0 (thread pitch) ![]() There are five bolts with a part number of 90011-PNA-003 and one bolt with a part number of 90012-PNA-003 that secure the valve cover to the block. How about some rep for such a fast answer to your question?

awesome. def +1 thank you!
Thats exactly how it all started...... 3 months ago when i broke it, honda than got me the wrong part, i was using one from the 2003 si as a temp, finally got the right bolt, fudged up the torque specs, sheared that off in the head, drilled out the piece, got another bolt, went to run it in only to find the threads are messed up, now the bolt threads r messed up too. buy tap and die kit, fixed bolt, now im having trouble getting the tap to reach past the rocker arm cap |
