07 Civic Si Sedan Gas Pedal Vibration

What's up guys? I just joined the forum a couple of days ago and this is my first post. I'm really glad that there are sites like this one where Civic-owners can exchange ideas and thoughts.

I just bought a 2007 Civic Si Sedan w/ nav & summer tires. It's a great car and it's so fun to drive. I traded in my 2002 Civic EX Coupe because I've always wanted to own an Si. I must say - I'm very happy with my decision. I haven't had any problems with the transmission as some may have experienced. However, I have been feeling some sort of a vibration when I step on the gas pedal. My car only has 400 miles on it and I'm not a crazy driver so I don't think it's something I did. I shouldn't really say that it's a problem rather it's more of an annoyance. The best way I can explain the sensation/vibration is if you put an electric razor next to your foot and it tickles because of the vibration, right? Now imagine you're driving and while stepping on the gas pedal you feel the same sensation, it's kind of bothersome, right? Well, at least to me it is. I've taken my car to the dealership and they said everything was okay. Maybe I'm nitpicking but from my standpoint - I would give away my navigation system just to eliminate this thing/problem/annoyance.

Have any of you guys experienced this? What do you think it is?

Thanks guys!

I have the same problem but it only happens when I drive over a speed bump or pothole. The gas and brake pedals shake exactly like a tuning fork when I drive over a speed bump at about 10-20 kph or faster. When I drive over a pothole the gas and brake pedals just shakes but not as fast as a tuning fork. I wonder if this happens to anyone
