C-pillar vibration behind SRS cover
Hi all:
I did a search but couldn't find the solution. Seems everyone is having the subwoofer vibration or a loose rear deck. I have a 2006 coupe and I have an anoying high frequency vibration comming from behind the passenger side c-pillar SRS cover. When I press down hard on the SRS cover, the sound disapears. My question(s) are: 1) Has anyone else had this problem 2) How do I get the cover off to figure out what the problem is? I have been able to snap out the bottom half of the cover but the top half doesn't seem to want to come off. Do I just need more force? I tried sending it to a dealer but they didn't solve the problem the first time around. I'm pretty mechanically inclined so I thought I would just do it myself. Any help is appreciated. |

I was hoping to wait a few years before having to pick one of those up! Looks like I might have to do my investment a little earlier.
I did manage to pry the cover off a bit and noticed a large wire going over the air bag. I've tried moving it around but I would rather tape it down or wrap some EPT around it. Other people must have this problem too, fess up folks! :) |
