AEM CAI CIVIC EX AT 1.8L CEL?

hey guys well i dont know if this is the proper place but here goes , i had my aem cai installed on my FG auto and the cel came up after use i did check with a scanner it was a P0171 system runing too lean i cleard it and after using it a while ago it came back , so now its still with the cel light uhh my mech(which is the best in the city or even better) and im glad my dad knows him way back since kids , well back to this he said that he didnt unplug the battery and everything else he felloeed on instructions.....

i also havnt driven it much so anyone know how i can fix this????? thanks also when i move my streering wheel either direction the car revs a tiny bit ......

The steering wheel thing is normal.

As far as the CEL goes, just disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes, then reconnect it and let it idle for about another 15 minutes.

The two best suggestions I would recommend would be to:

1) Contact AEM. You obviously won't be the first person to contact them about this issue. Try to have the issue escalated and handled with in the most positive way possible. I know their technical support sucks, but trying to be irrate about it won't get you anywhere.

2) Arrange a weekend to re-install everything. I sold my AEM CAI to another member on this board and he was able to install it without any problems. On the other hand, I kept getting a CEL with it.
