Question Tanabe 4-pt under brace or fstb???

I'm torn. I'm looking for overall increased rigidity of the Si chassis and found this on the excellent corsport site. I had almost passed it over. Does anyone have this installed? If so, is it a better solution to overall stiffness over the front strut bars? Is the installation simple?

Any advice welcome, thanks in advance.

Since neither of the other two decided to actually answer your question, yes, it'll make a difference, but you might want to consider both fstb and 4-point underbrace. From what I've seen with this car in particular is that those who've installed either, but not the other, have said the car is slightly more rigid and rotates slightly quicker, but those who've installed both have said the car is a lot more willing to rotate and fairly stiffer than stock. Take it for what it's worth.

Thanks, I will probably do both but started at the bottom so to speak. When more manufacturers of the FSTB emerge, the prices should come down a bit. The Tanabe has an excellent reputation, so I'm going with it first and then decide on a FSTB.

I've had both. Neither make a difference. Why? The Si's chassis is already PLENTY stiff.

If you want better handling, get a Progress rear sway-bar.

BTW, love the avatar. Watching that right now, in fact!

Have you looked at the Megan Racing braces?

I did look at Megan, really nice quality. My local shop has some connection with Tanabe, so the dollar savings were worth it. They've been a great shop to deal with and they basically said the same thing, the new civic is very stiff but at less than 2 pounds, it can't hurt. I'm not sure what I'll do to the vehicle for handling, to I may as well keep the chassis as stiff as I can. The Kurgan is my favorite villain, next to the Warlock. I loved the TV series as well, until the show went with a chic ... downhill ... sorry ladies.
