Clutch pedal noise

Alright, here's the deal. When I'm releasing the clutch, there is a squeeky noise coming from the pedal. When I first heard this noise, I thought it was because my shoes were wet, but that isn't the case...it still does it when they are dry. Does anyone have any idea what this noise is?

I used to have this noise on my 86 accord and 86 civic, I think on those years, the pedal needed a little greasing or lubricating at it's connection point.

I am sure it's just something like that.

I get a squeaking noise while engaging/disengaging the clutch on my Si. It comes from the engine bay. Since this is my first manual car, I don't know if this is normal or not.

i had that noise too. i just sprayed some white lithium grease on the bushing (or gromett or whatever you want to call it) that the clutch pedal pivots on. it completely went away
