I got new 2007 civic lx 4dr and have question

Hello there,

I am happy to know about this web site. I got new 2007 civic lx last Saturday, so it's been just a few days. Currently my car has only 60 miles.

The problem is that I noticed something strange pinging noise from probably engine. When I trying to attempting a moderate acceleration on the flat (Miles ranages are 45~50 and RPM is below 2000), I can here that noise. by the way, this noise is really soft and short, if my radio is on I could not hear.

Is this thing normal or Do I have to wait until break-in point (600 miles)?

Interestingly enough, on my 06 LX under harder than normal acceleration I can hear a very very slight pinging as well.
