I haven't blown a speaker yet, but maybe thats because I upgraded my whole stereo system. If you want to replace your speakers I think they are 6.5" all the way around (make sure you get an amp also).

i have the same problem on my EX but it only happens with some songs and it only happens with the HondaLink. The tweeters crack like sh** and kinda pisses me off but I was planning to replace the speakers anyway b/c I didn't expect much from paper mass production crap. I'm replacing the front components with alpine type-r 6.5" and rear i'm prolly going polk audio in the rear due to the torsion bar depth problem, and I'd kinda like to keep mine.

I have the same problem also with the hondalink. i took the tweeters out and nothing is rattling around under the grill. Do you all think its the tweeters or some sort of interference with the hondalink cable? I also notice a slight whining noise when changing tracks.

This could be a side-effect of the harddrive in the iPod spinning up to access the next track, assuming you have a HDD-based iPod (and not the Nano). I haven't noticed this with my USA Spec adapter, but I also don't listen to it very loud (which would make it more noticeable).
