door sill loose

took my car to an audio shop to get my system hooked up.

they ran the power through the door sill but now its mis-aligned.

i was hoping there would be an easy way to fix this but everytime i go to pop it back in place it snaps out and when i close the door i can hear it grinding against the door.

here's some pics:

it seemes as though theres some blue residue on that little white piece and i was wondering if maybe it was glued down and maybe i should re glue it?

any one run power that route? what did you guys end up doing?

edit: damn my interior is dirty..

I wonder if they damaged the clips to the point they don't have the power to hold down the trim piece?

It's also possible the cable they ran under the trim is to thick to let the trim sit flush the way it should.

I don't trust most installers, they don't take care of your car like you would.

the wire looks like it's in the way so that's y it doesn't clip down properly....there no glue on those clips and they don't look broken....i would say just try and move the wire so it's not in the way.....maybe under the carpet....and u should be fine after that

Take it back asap to audio shop that worked on the car. They are 100% liable for the damage done to the car,let them figure out why the trim piece keeps on coming out,its their responsibility, not yours.

ps.Here is a pick of all the clips on the door sill(6 of them)
