Squeaky Armrest?

Is it just me or is the armrest (fully extended outwards) very creaky? Annoying, started 500kms ago. Also another creak from the windshield area. ZomG! My 72 Torino has less creaks and rattles.

Anyone? Would Honda just laugh @ me if I take this in for fixing?

Mine doesn't seem to make a noise in any position. While Honda may laugh at you, they will also try and fix the problem. I used to work at an Infiniti dealer and people would come in with the weirdest noise complaints and the tech would try and fix them.

I can't say I've had an issue with the center armrest creaking, but my driver's side armrest has been creaking at low temperatures. Also, my seat if I push back a little in it.

Fun fun.

Well poo, it's not THAT annoying, but, when you have the windows down, music off, cruising..... you hear it around and over any bump or slight movement of your elbow. Cheap plastics.

A few blasts of WD-40 on the hinges, latch, and rails, cured this for me.

Mine does the same thing, but mostly when it is really cold out. Same thing with my drivers side armrest when I put pressure on it with my elbow. Again, it's only when temps get real low though.

I'm starting to get rattles and creaks from everywhere. Yes, I have the armrest problem. So damn annoying. Almost makes me wish I had a shifter like the ep so that I wouldn't rest my arm on the damn thing.
