Fuel injector cleaner?

I don't know if I put this in the right place. If not, sorry. But is it a good idea to use fuel injector cleaner regularly, if so what brand do you recommend?

it is a good idea to use it every once in a while. For the 1st 15K you should be fine without it. After that I would recommend using it every other oil change. Then at 30K I would recommend some kind of induction cleaner. My brand of choice is BG. Its a little pricey but it has proven effects. For the injector/fuel system clean use BG 44K, and for the induction service they have a kit that include 44K, and induction service, as well as a throttle chamber cleaner. Because our cars have DBW you can't/ shouldn't use the throttle body cleaner. To use the induction service you just open up some of you major vacuum lines and slowly poor it in with the car running. It will sputter and almost stall but after it has worked its way through it will make a world of difference. Another good product is Seafoam, but I only really recommend this for cars that have not received regular services as it is quite a bit more potent than the BG products. Hope this helps!

Oh and warn your neighbors when you use Seafoam. ^_^ You don't want the local FD to go your way.

I think the only two that have shown somewhat positive result are Lucas, and Chevron. Nothing beats send it in for cleaning from a reputable injector company. Not to mention they balance, and give a print out in the end.

Otherwise stay away from them.

Techron Plus Fuel System cleaner works great.

Use it every 3000 to 5000 miles.

i use seafoam at every oil change. works great if you spray it directly into the oil pan from the drain hole, really gets the grime out of the bearings.

+1 for Chevron Techron. This is the same product packaged as GM fuel injector cleaner.
