I really wish I could get these...

But I have to wait until AEM or some other big brand comes out with these.

I asked my local shop if they could put these on (and they're really cool, they've done a lot of work for me) and they said no. The reasoning was is that the parts aren't CARB approved (I THINK that's what they said....but it wasn't 'something' approved)

I would do these myself, but I honestly don't have the resources and tools to do it. I suppose I might be able to pull it together, but it would be way too much work. I had to install my CAI with the jack that comes with the car. VERY difficult.

You need the jack and stand (singular) in order to remove the front tire to get to the Crank pulley:)

I did UR pulleys on my Acura and it was pretty strait forward, easy mod....except for the evil crank puley (torqued from the factory to 280 ft lbs with red locktite ). It took me 2 days to get that bitch off! I had a cordless DeWalt impact (350 ft lbs of tq)....that bolt would not budge...ended up using a breaker bar and a jack...

You are never going to find a pulley kit that is CARB approved. AEM is not CARB, Unorthodox is not CARB. Pulleys do not change your cars breathing behavior and have no effect on emissions, so they do not require CARB approval.

The biggest difference between these pulleys for the R18 and AEM or Unorthodox is that the NST ones are out already, they already are and will be available in more colors than their competition, and they will be priced lower than the "big brands." No brainer bro.

And I talked to Mike from NST (NSTonAIM) and he had some very interesting news about new stuff for the K20 in the next few months. I think you guys will like

Red is available. These pulleys are special order pieces right now and you can get them in almost any color you want. Just find them on aim, sn: NSTonAIM and tell the rep that you want a red kit.

You can feel the difference at almost every RPM. If you look at pulley dyno graphs you will see that the area under the curve is always better with pulleys at every RPM.
