2007 Rims color changing

As many of you know the rims on the 2007 are a little darker than the rims on the 2006 Civic Si well I have had my car for 3 to 4 months now and I have 7000 miles on my car and my rims seem to be getting lighter (color) I have compared them to my friends 2006 Si rims and they are almost the same color. It doesn’t really bother me I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this as well. Note: I do not wash my car a lot I have washed it every other weekend ever since I’ve had it if that’s a question.

A few comparison pictures might help or identify a problem..

btw: do you park outside or in a garage?
