Ebay Fog lights, no light on dash

Sorry if this has been answered before but I didn't see it when I searched. But a couple months ago I installed a fog light kit on my 06 Si that I bought on ebay, they work great but I was looking at pictures of others fog light installs and they had a light on their instrument panel when the fogs are on, but my light never comes on. Does anyone know what might need to be changed to ge tthe light to work? Thanks

I also have the Ebay Fog kit and my dash light never comes on. I think it has to do with the one wire that we are missing that was suppose to plug into the block harness. If you really wanted to you could get the OEM harness from honda and swap it out. I think if you did that they you would get the light on the dash. But I've heard, dont quote me, that the OEM kit doesnt flash the fogs when you lock/unlock your car. Mine does, I like that feature. Lots of people who the Ebay fogs, Hopefully more people will chime in.

Mine also turn on with lock/unlock, and stay on with high beams, which I like and I don't think honda ones do that either. Thanks for input.

if you went aftermarket with your fogs and not oem you will not get the indicator. If you want it you have to go oem harness and a oem stalk or switch. You will lose the ability to have parking lights on with fogs and the flash when you lock the car on the fogs.

Also with the non-oem harness the fogs stay on when you high beam. I don't mind not having that indicator light anyways.
