BUDDYS 06 SI CLUTCH QUES????

ok my friends NHBP 06 si so some reason when the car is cold and you start it up. you can hear a spinning noise and when u push the clutch in it goes away. it only does this when its cold and hasnt been running. After it warms up and drive it for a bit the noise is not there anymore at all. sounds like the throw out bearing but why would it make this noise when the cars cold and not warm.??? let me know

May not be much help, but take it to the dealer. Will be under warranty.

I had an old Nissan truck that did this same thing. I'm sure it was the throw out bearing. I never got it changed and just got used to it.

If its still under warranty, take it in. :)

yea i think his cars only got 8,000 miles on it

but i dont understand why it would only do it when its cold and not after its warmed up

Mine kinda does that, but not a spinning noise. When my car is cold the clutch(or something) squeaks when I press down the clutch pedal. When its warmed up no more squeaks anywhere.

that may be your clutch master we have this problem with ep's,em's,and some fg's
