Trunk latch broke.

Much like the title says, my trunk latch broke. Not sure what happened, I opened it to put some stuff in there, closed it and went to drive away when I noticed it bouncing open and closed. I went to check it out and I noticed this tiny spring hanging from the latch, I went to see what it went to and it fell off completely. Now my trunk doesn't stay closed, it's really rather annoying. I'm gonna schedule an appointment with Honda but if this is happened to anyone before and they could walk me through it, I'd much rather just do that...

Damn that would suck if you continued going down the road and your trunk flew up!

I had it bungeed down, but it was still annoying. I ended up taking it to one of my jobs on my day off and my boss and I were able to take off the plastic covering and put the spring back in, it's a rather flimsy design actually, which is further proved by the person who said it happened to them too. The spring pretty much just barely rests on it's two latches.
