Vibration after driving through snow.

Hey, i live in manitoba canada, and we just had a huge snowfall last night, i drove to work this morning through partly plowed streets, but still had to go through some back streets where there were only tire ruts to follow, and the snow was 1ft-2ft high in some parts so my undercarriage plowed through it. After, i got on another road that was plowed, and when i got up to about 85km/h my car started vibrating like crazy and the steering wheels wouldn't stop shaking. I drove slow the rest of the way. Anyways do you think i could have damaged? the snow was fresh and light, i wasn't driving through ice or compacted snow, or is it just snow stuck in and around my wheels? Thanks.

The same thing has happend to me many times, i believe it's snow/ice in the suspension and it'll melt and you'll be fine again.

Snow/Ice are caked on your wheels, and this should disappear once it melts. You could try a car wash with hot water, followed *immediately* by a drive to send any excess water off the wheel.

there is prolly snow/ice on your rims...if it was on the suspension, it wouldnt make a diff...i worked in a tire shop for 3 years....i cant tell you how many times i have seen this....ppl come in "my cars vibratin wicked bad" just clean off the ice/snow from the tires/rims, all is well...trust me.

Yep this complaint comes every year.As dent said just go to a car wash and wash out your wheels or wait for it to melt.
