Drivers seat squeeking

My seat has started to squeek when I get out of the car. I think it is the springs in the front left part of the seat. Anyone having this issue? If I cant fix it myself then it is going to Honda.

ya my seat does it too, at first i thought it was the clutch squeeking, but its my movement in the seat when i change gears why i hear the noise. if the dealer fixes it let us know, i can't find the time to bring it back to them

Both my EX and my Si had seat squeaks. On the EX they replaced the upper frame of the seat and on the Si, it was the lower frame. I'll look around for my work order and see if it says exactly what was replaced.

Just had my seat fixed for this exact problem. It is the seat rails that get bent or out of place. I am unsure how I managed to bend mine since I weigh 110 pounds but it is covered under warranty.

Agreed, this is the only thing I have issue with on the new car. I'm all for safety and such, but these overly complicated height adjustable, SRS equipped seats make me miss the del Sol seats I had in my 1993 Civic for three main reasons...
1. Light
2. Simple
3. Effective

Frankly, if I didn't decide from the beginning to campaign the car in H Stock (very restrictive rules package), I would have had a pair of Sparco EVO's in there by now!

On my Si and my EX, according to the work order form's, they replaced part #81526-SNA-A12 which is the entire driver's seat frame.

Both are squeak free now.

Little update... I took it back today for the drivers seat noise and they will be replacing the frame as well. I hope this permanently resolves the issue.

I noticed however that the work order mentioned this was a one-time goodwill event. I figured that's a blanket statement because while under warranty, I'll complain until the seat is right.

same here, happened about 2 weeks ago
it happens when i push the clutch in or happen to move a bit on my left leg
it sounds like a "click" in the seat, and I'm not sure what it is
doesn't bother me too much though

My driver side seat doesn't move up anymore, and my passenger side seat feels really loose. I'm taking the car in for maintenance and getting all the seats replaced. I wonder if they will let me keep the old ones, I will sell them here for cheap if they do. Anyone interested in some Si seats?
