Unhappy CEL on, and jdm badge help

To start, my check engine light went on a few days ago, and hasn't gone away. I've check if it was the gas cap, cuz if you don't click it all the way sometimes the light goes on, and that was fine. I have an AEM intake on it, put it on about 3 months ago, the CEL went on, took it to the dealer, hasn't gone on since. I've tried disconnecting the battery then letting the car idle, but the light goes on after about 40 miles (I've done this twice in the past few days). Any Ideas?

Second:
I bought the DC5 rear emblem and the EP3 front emblem, as was stated by ayenoc, to swap out badges for the red jdm ones. The rear one fit, but the front one wasn't even cloes:

I ordered the 02-05 EP3 front emblem, and it looks like it doesn't fit. I was thinking possibly they sent me the wrong one? Here's a pic of the model number, if any of you have your packaging can you see if yours is a different number?

the AEM intake will make your car throw a CEL.

the code thrown is something along the lines of 'fuel metering too lean' meaning that the car is running rich.

i have contacted aem about it (i have the same problem) and they say they have a tech working on it but i just dont know.

your best bet would be to just keep pestering them until its done.

GL oh and beware of the car stalling out on you randomly while driving, most often happens to my while turning so i have had to learn how to better down shift, rev match, and heel-toe

The only times it has happened to me is when I'm turning and slowing down a lot, such as when entering a parking lot from the street. Something about the AEM CAI makes the car shift too early sometimes (RPM's drop too low) and thus the car stalls. Happens on automatics too (I have auto).

I had the exact same problem. The CEL would come on after approximately 40 miles with normal driving. The times it came were when I just started to get out of a parking spot, backing up, sitting in a drive-thru, etc.

I would take an afternoon or evening and disassemble everything and just reinstall the unit. It's your best bet. I never got rid of the CEL, but when I sold it, a member never got a CEL with it. Never hurts to try.

Yeah I used to have my car stall out on turns....pretty freaky. And same with me, the light usually comes on if I'm parking, or at a standstill. I find it rather unlucky that other people never had the light come on...

It's really obnoxious, and I always get into an argument with my dad about it.

Since Honda "fixed" it before, and said they'd cover it under warranty still, should I take it back after the holidays and see if they can reprogram it again? I think what happened is it got reset cuz i stalled it three times in a row after coming home from a wrestling tournament....i was tired and let the clutch out too fast haha and the light came on shortly after.

and thanks for the website for the emblem....now i just have to go through the hassle of shipping my non fitting one back.

thing is, its an aftermarket product so your dealer really can't help you reguardless if its under warranty or not.

only thing you can do is hassle AEM to fix it, or go back to stock, or go with an injen cai

check your CAI, someone on this forum noticed that there was a pipe loose on his CAI and after he fixed it, the CEL went away.
