mechanical noise ?
i just got a 2007 civic LX. When I turn on the wiper on "INT" mode, i can hear mechanical noise (like a clicking noise) when the wiper starts to move, and then another clicking noise when the wiper completes its round and goes back to the bottom of the windshield. It sounds like a switch noise controling whether the wiper is on or off. Is this normal?

perfectly normal
just for some reason Honda put relly loud relays for the wipers and for the blinkers (actually for the flashers it is not a relay - it is completely artificial noise (speaker) just to make you aware that the blinker is ON but the flashlights are controlled electronicaly and ther is no relay). I have no idea though why Honda thinks the Civic owners are semideaf or something (not as loud in other models Honda) |
