Electrical problem

Okay guys, another problem. My car is turned on, and all of the windows are up, and my head lights are turned on. If I pull the driver window switch up (yes, I know the window is closed) my headlights become less bright. Is this a problem in electrical system? Is it common? any solution?

Thanks
Amir

Mine used to do it to, but not I'm running PnP HID and they have a ballast which I think fixed that problem. I used to have a silverado and it did it too when I pulled up on the window switch. I think its normal, because the window is already up and the motor is still trying to move it.

its normal
youre basically asking the motor to try and overcome the door causing it to use more current so it creates a bigger drain on the system. since the door is exerting the same amount of force back to the motor there is no way that it will overcome it.

a grounding kit will not "fix" it

The windows system could be designed in such a way that if the window is closed and the window switch is pulled up, the window motor stays off. Does not seem that complicated !
