Navigation Crash - ALL BLACK SCREEN but Music

I was listening to the radio with just the key in the accessory position.
My friend came back, and I proceeded to start the car. My Navi
flashed and then every button was dead, no on no off, but the radio was on and I could not ajust the volumn or turn it off. nothing black screen.

I have to remove the negative on the battery to reset the Navi

Anyone know if there is a Navi crash and lock up issue, or is this just a fluke

Any easier way to reset it rather than the battery thingy

thanks
Rach

They said I have to wait till it freezes again for them to do anything about it

which is what I will do, when it does it again

i think without being able to see what oyu are doing your best bet is just to take the negative termanl off for about 30 seconds.
