Car went into safe mode

So yeah.***NOTE: I have the greddy kit***I was following some friends on the interstate last night going to dinner. We had to get over so I simply put the car in fifth to speed up and get around cars when my car beings to sputter and dump fuel. CEL comes on and I can't accelerate on the interstate. At first I thought my motor was f'd up. Well, When I pulled over I found out my car went into safe mode. I've had nothing but problems with the greddy kit and they almost blew my motor when they sent me a wrong basemap. So therefore I e-mail greddy and asked for a refund...

Does anyone know what would cause the car to go into safe mode??

dono nothing about turbos, mybe a bad install?? i dono good luck

I've had the kit on for since sept and have had nothing but little problems. i've had different people check the install and everything is correct.

Greddy will probably battle you saying that it was an incorrect install, etc. etc. and not give you a refund. I personally have never delt with greddy before, so I could be wrong. But it is a business, and business' never admit when it's their fault - especially when it costs them money. =P

Hope you get everything worked out. If you do get the refund - Marvie kit ftw!

Greddy doesn't give a rats ass. My dad (Honda service advisor) installed a Greddy TT setup on an RSX Type S for a minor league baseball player. He couldn't get it to stop running SUPER rich. He called up Greddy and said who he was and what he was doing and they claimed they never made a TT setup for that car. Of course the box FROM Greddy (read not bought on ebay) specifically said it was for that car. They don't care since they already have your money.

Similar problem on the Greddy Emanage system for a 350z. It wouldn't run right and swore a representative would fly out to fix it. Yah, that was over a year ago.
