Need Someone To Test This (Rumbling Idle)
I've always had this weird rumble at idle sometimes and I never figured out what caused it till today. Here's how I re-created the problem and I was wondering if anyone was able to test this with me as well by following the steps below. By the way, I own an 06 LX Sedan (MT).
1) Turn the car on 2) Leave it idling 3) Make sure all windows are fully shut 4) Make sure the window lock button isn't on 5) Press the buttons to make the windows go up (Yes, that isn't a typo, with the windows shut, try to continue closing them). At this point, this is where my car would give off a rumble at idle and make the lights go dim for a split second. Any thoughts? |

Every car I have been in lately does that. Turn the steering wheel a little bit to enage the PS, or roll up the window, and the rpms dive.
