Window Visor smacking you while turning? Solution here!

I got sick of getting slapped by my visor everytime I took a turn while it was blocking sunlight coming in from the driver's side window.

I had this idea a while ago and now I finally did it.

I'll start with the pictures:

i got the piece for $4 from the dealer, it's the same piece that holds the visor when not in use.

I had to dremel quite a bit in order to get it to fit just right, but now it does and works great!

No more getting dangerously hit in the head while turning anymore!!

Many other people have had the same problem, I don't think it's defective, I think it's just not very good design.

Yeah, it's pretty unnoticeable. It works great, it holds perfectly so no more getting hit!

I'm sorry, though this is a great idea, it is not a solution. It is a work-around. Honda needs to fix their crappy design. This looks horrible, imo.

you really don't see it when in person though, it's not obtrusive at all. No one who has driven in my car has noticed it until I point it out.

I've had a couple people tell me it looks stock because it's the exact color of all the other grays.

And if you want to try sending a letter to Honda about a visor, go ahead, more power to you, I think I took the easy way out...

It solved a problem I had that I know the dealership or Honda most likely wouldn't do anything about. So I'm happy
