injen cai for FG2- sudden massive rattling?!

i was in first gear throttling firmly with an injen cai installed when all of a sudden the car begins to jerk and rattle violenty for a couple of seconds while the tach strangled at around 5-6k rpm. initially, i couldnt tell if it was coming from the engine or from the ground, but after i went back and checked the pavement, there was nothing unusual about it. from the feedback i was getting from the wheel and pedals, the rattling felt like i was going over a pothole-infested surface, but it couldnt have been since the ground was fine and the tach shouldnt have gone crazy for that brief moment. could this be an intake hose/filter clamping issue, and maybe unfiltered air was getting in? if it is, seems unusual for it to happen only that one instance (ive had it on for several days now).

definetly check over your install, check the hoses, make sure the filter is secure check all bolts and if nothing seems to be loose or wrong i would put the stock box back on and contact injen
